In this blog I pulled together a version of street style. What is street style you ask? Well, I asked myself the same question. After reading several definitions, I concluded that street style is as individual as your personality. Various cultures and subcultures have a certain style. Near by a four-day event, the Long Star Rally, of motorcyclists, is taking place in Galveston, Texas. In this culture there are several subcultures. Let’s briefly break down this one culture of motorcyclists by finance, which is a subculture. Brief being key. The wealthy motorcyclist’s subculture may have a different style from a middle-income subculture. The individuals in both subcultures sport what is popular and financially feasible for them from fashion, engines, equipment, and much more.
Based on my observation of street fashion, I believe anyone can mix and match just about anything. The only key is it must please the individual, or if you are trying to please a subculture it must look good to them. Weather it is acceptable by others may or may not be a factor. It is dependent on that individual’s mine frame. I also think if one starts with nice looking items the outfit is bound to look good.
In this blog, I used Go Fashions ink’s outfits and accessories to create a fall street style. For this look I used:
- Velvet Pants Ice, Burnt Olive
- Round Neckline Crop Top, Cream
- Open Front Blazer
- Gold Heels
- Hammered Short Necklace Set
- Beaded Cross Bracelet
- Beaded Stretch Bracelet
- Beaded Stretch Bracelet, Black and Gold
- Crystal Burst Bracelet
- Crystal Framed Sunglasses
- Faux Fur Clutch, Blush
I decided to start with a pair of pants, first. Being so near the holiday, I wanted velvet, and I selected the beautiful Velvet Pants Ice, Burnt Olive. This is not to say that we can only wear velvet for the holidays. These pants are 97% polyester and 3% spandex. They come in five colors dusty purple, dark ruby, burnt olive, brown stone, and black, by ACT. The Velvet Pants Ice has a drawstring waist, contrasting bands on the waist and ankles, and a low-rise waist. Nice start.
The top selection was next, and I chose the Round Neckline Crop Top, in cream. This top is made of 100% cotton. It has a round neckline, a cropped bodice pullover, has long sleeves, and made in an all over hexagon print fabric.
Next, the look needed a blazer and what is better than the black Open Front Blazer. This blazer has a tuxedo style with a satin lapel. Additionally, this black open-front blazer has an angle front hem, long sleeves, faux pockets, and padded shoulders. Another element of casual elegance for this look.
The pants have a mix of athleticism and evening wear styles. For this look when it came to the shoes, I wanted to lean towards evening wear. So, I selected our Ankle Strap Stilettos, Rose Gold. These sleek, feminine, and fashionable stilettos have 4 1/2” heels which takes the look far away from athletic wear. The heels come in a metallic finish with a peep-almond toe and back closure.
On to accessorizing, let’s look at the jewelry. The Hammered Necklace Set comes with earrings. The earrings have a silver-circle dangle. The necklace is a chain link and is short in length. The focal point is a multi-metal color wide circle with two oblong oval shapes on both sides that brings a bit of a rustic element to the look.
As I searched for bracelets on Go Fashions ink, I knew that I wanted many. I selected two Beaded Stretch Bracelet Sets 36569.GD.Gold and 36570.BK.Black. The 36569.GD.Gold is a light weight gold tone beaded-stretch bracelet set that comes in three pieces. 36570.BK.Black set has an all gold finished beaded bracelet, one has black stone looking beads with a large clear gemstone, and another bracelet has multi-color gemstones mixed with gold-finished beads.
The Crystal Burst Bracelet adds a little sparkle. It has crystals bursting out in a floral design over a faux-crackled leather band. To provide a bit more sparkle and sophistication the Beaded Cross Bracelet was added. The cross bracelet is a charming thin and delicate-beaded bracelet with a rhinestone embellished cross focal point. The bracelets can be worn on one wrist or divided between both wrists.
At this point, I looked at the outfit and decided it need a little pop of color and added the blush Faux-Fur Clutch. This trendsetting faux-fur clutch has gold metal-finished hardware, zipper closure, one zipper pocket, and a removable shoulder strap. To complement the purse, I included Go Fashions ink’s Crystal Framed Sunglasses in pink. How adorable are these sunglasses?
Stunning. This street style outfit is simply fabulous. The style is so flexible it can be worn for evening or day wear. That’s what is so boss about street style; it promotes creativity letting you be you. Best of all you can stand out while looking oh so good.
